Sushmita Mallick is a highly analytical and skilled computer science graduate from Arizona State University (ASU). With a passion for technology and a focus on solving real-world challenges, Sushmita is currently working as a Software Development Engineer 1 at Amazon, where she is developing systems that touch millions of lives every day. Sushmita has a proven track record of designing and building robust, scalable systems, with experience working at Directi and Infosys. At Directi, Sushmita was part of the core team responsible for optimizing the prediction algorithm for click-rate on website advertisements, and building software for real-time bidding on major publishers such as Forbes, CNN, BBC, Verizon, Reddit, and Appnexus. At Infosys, Sushmita built a product for a logistics execution and supply chain visibility provider from scratch, working with a team to analyze and decide on the appropriate architecture for a new logistics product focused on increased customer visibility. Sushmita's technical skills include software engineering, web development, CNN, Neo4j, and UI design. She is a team player with excellent communication skills, and her ability to work collaboratively has contributed to her success in developing systems that have a significant impact on people's lives. Sushmita is an incoming graduate student (MS CS) at ASU this Fall and is open to Summer '23 tech internships. With 5.78 years of relevant experience, Sushmita is well-equipped to take on new challenges and make a significant contribution to any team she joins.
