Susmit Yenkar is an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for AI and Cybersecurity. With 6.87 years of relevant experience, he has a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. His TechStack includes Software Engineer, AI, Research Scientist, ML, Data Scientist, Python, Backend, Seaborn, Pandas, Data Engineering, and Data Warehouse. Currently, Susmit is working with VMware as a Senior Member Of Technical Staff in the Carbon black core backend team as a data R&D engineer. He is working on the core problem of providing cybersecurity using data and ML. Prior to this, he worked with Agrostar as a Data Science Engineer III, where he was responsible for the entire data stack across Data Engineering, Data Science, and Tools for Data Analytics. He also led a team of 5 developers and was responsible for breaking down business problems for the team. Susmit has also volunteered to teach CDAC students about the basics of Advanced Analytics and Python programming. The core topics of the module that he taught were Analytics using Pandas, Data Visualization using Matplotlib and Seaborn, Data Summarization, Descriptive Statistics, Decision Models, Probability Distribution & Probability for statistics, Risk Simulation, Forecasting & Optimization Analytics, Sampling & Estimation, Regression & Decision Analytics, and Data Inference. Susmit's Education History includes an Integrated Program in Business Analytics from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, where he studied Data Analytics and Data Science. He also has a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University, where he studied from 2010 to 2014. He completed his 10th Grade from Hadas High School in 2008. Susmit is skilled in Machine Learning, Python, Statistical Data Analysis, and C++.
