Susmita Kanchinadham is an ISTQB Certified Test Manager with over 3 years of experience in automation and manual testing. She is also an Oracle Certified Java developer with over 1 year of experience in core Java development in SDN technologies. Currently, she is working as a Software Engineer at Intuit, a leading financial software company. Susmita has taken up various roles like product quality improvement prime and scrum master during her career. She has worked on TurboTax, a tax preparation software provided by Intuit, which is the market leader in tax software. Her experience includes working on the TurboTax Desktop application for Canada, which is a windows-only application developed on .Net framework using VC++, MFC, Win32, C#, WPF, REST for web services, etc. Susmita has handled various components, including Test Automation Engineer, Functional & Regression Tests, Tools, and Customer Empathy. She has automated test cases in C# using Microsoft’s UI Automation framework, prepared test plans for new features, raised bugs/enhancements in JIRA, and performed regression tests. She has also been the SPOC for the maintenance of tools that were developed for making work easy for the Tax Analysts of her team in Canada. Susmita has actively participated in answering customer queries on TurboTax forum and bringing their concerns to PM’s notice for further discussion and implementation as feasible. Susmita has worked as a Senior Quality Engineer at Altimetrik and was responsible for Quality Engineering for TurboTax at Intuit. She has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
