Sutapa Dutta is a highly skilled Data Scientist with over 4 years of experience in the field. She is currently working at Cognizant, collaborating with Applied Materials on Neural Network optimization techniques using Neural Architecture Search. Sutapa is also a Microsoft certified Azure Data Scientist Associate and a former Data Science Researcher at the Indian Statistical Institute. Sutapa is passionate about exploring the field of Data Science from an industrial point of view. She loves to work on use-cases that have real-time applications and can have societal benefits. Sutapa has worked as a Junior Research Fellow at the Machine Intelligence Unit, ISI for MeitY, DST, Govt. of India funded project related to healthcare. Her research topic was Activity Recognition & Semi-Supervised Learning. She has also worked as a Student Intern at MIU, where she developed a project on Illumination Invariant Classification of Flowers. Sutapa created a raw dataset for this study, performed Image Augmentation using a custom ConvNet model, and achieved an accuracy score of 88% on the Test Set.
