Suvo Gaine is a skilled software engineer with expertise in data science, automotive infotainment, and Android development. He graduated with a Dual Degree (B.Tech+M.Tech) in Industrial and Systems Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. Suvo has 3.86 years of relevant experience and is currently working as a Member Technical Staff at Oracle. In his previous role as a Project Engineer at Wipro, Suvo worked on two projects. The first project involved customizing the System-UI for an automotive AOSP of an in-vehicle infotainment system. He also ported system applications from Android Lollipop to Android Oreo, wrote Python scripts for automating test cases, and made Android test apps for debugging critical bugs. Suvo also automated the analysis task of the DumpSys logs using Python scripts, which reduced the KPI analysis time from hours to minutes. In the second project, Suvo developed the ROAM and log manager module for the Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS) in the central gateway module of an automotive OEM. He identified use cases, drew class diagrams, and implemented code from scratch from the requirement document. Suvo also did unit testing using g-test for various NIDS modules and developed report deletion logic for the log manager module. Suvo also worked as a Data Science Intern at Quantiphi, where he developed a text-to-image generation product for ladies' fashion dresses. He used object detection to get dresses from training images for image processing and built a color model using K-means clustering on the RGB values of the most frequently used 30 colors. Suvo used Attention Generative Adversarial Networks (Attn-GAN) that allow attention-driven fine-grained image generation.
