Suyash Gupta is a highly skilled Software Engineer with 9 years of experience in software platform development for supporting highly scalable, data-intensive applications and ML-based systems. Currently, he is working with Google Maps team in Bangalore as a Software Engineer. Suyash has a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products and has worked on several critical projects throughout his career. In his current role, Suyash is responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions for Google Maps UGC. He is an expert in his field and has extensive experience with Spark, Integration, and ML. Suyash is also the Lead for Talks at Google Bangalore, where he organizes and manages various events and seminars. Prior to joining Google, Suyash worked as a Lead Engineer with Informatica's R&D group. He was responsible for leading the Connectivity team and working on the flagship Data Integration product of Informatica – Mercury. He delivered the pushdown framework for enabling the execution of Informatica Mercury mappings on distributed cluster computing frameworks such as Spark. Suyash also enhanced the pushdown framework to leverage native Spark and Databricks support from third-party systems for better integration and performance. Before his role as a Lead Engineer, Suyash worked as a Senior Software Engineer with Informatica. He worked on building the pushdown framework for execution of Mercury mappings on an in-house developed cluster framework called ‘Blaze’. Suyash also developed and maintained key features in the Application SDK component of Mercury platform. This SDK framework helps application developers to build and deploy connectors for third-party integration. Suyash holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. He also completed his schooling in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths from Seth M.R. Jaipuria School.
