Suyash Srivastava is a seasoned and enthusiastic software engineer with a background of 2.11 years in the complete product development lifecycle of successfully launched applications. He is currently working as a Member of Technical Staff at Salesforce R&D, where he has solely implemented auto-scaling for Prodo, a REST-endpoint web application deployed in Kubernetes Cluster. He has also mentored a summer intern and implemented three completely new Topic-level metrics from Kafka, which gave customer (topic) level SLA visualization through new dashboards. Prior to this, Suyash worked as an Associate Member of Technical Staff at Salesforce, where he solely owned and gave an end-to-end delivery of the Hyper Local Observability and Hyper Local Alerting product. He introduced and onboarded all Ajna Services to Local Prometheus Package for Out-of-band Alerting in every K8s cluster and decreased alert latency by 80%. He also led a 3-member team for end-to-end delivery of Autoscaling Ajna Services in K8s and initiated an innovative project SlackBot as a 2-member team to improve both customer and on-call engineer experience. Suyash completed his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad in 2021. During his time there, he was selected as one of the 10 students as overall coordinator for placement and training for IIT (ISM), Dhanbad and was responsible for inviting organizations for hiring students from their campus and coordinating their hiring process. Suyash is experienced in Java, C/C++, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, System Design, Kafka, Prometheus, and DS/Algo. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in various software engineering tools and technologies.
