Suyog Sarda is a Senior Data Scientist with a passion for machine learning and a track record of winning global AI competitions such as AWS DeepRacer. He is a self-motivated individual who is always eager to learn new skills and is able to persevere, innovate, and deliver timely results. Currently, Suyog is working as a Senior Data Scientist at Credavenue, where he is involved in developing self-driving car technology. He has won the global Financial Services Event for the fastest self-driving car and used AWS SageMaker for training the model used by the car to complete the race lap autonomously. Suyog has also used EDA techniques for log analysis of training data to improve the model and tune hyperparameters. He has overcome challenges such as reward function sniffing out unforeseen behavior and improving it. Prior to Credavenue, Suyog worked as a Data Scientist 3 at Ciena, where he built an NLP microservice using the RASA engine for handling financial jargon and enhanced the alerting and querying abilities to improve productivity. He also developed and managed APIs used by internal and external clients for analytics pertaining to trades. Suyog managed the telemetry, pricing, usage analytics, and safely exposed the APIs using Apigee. Suyog has also worked at Amazon as a DeepRacer in Reinforcement Learning. He added multiple new features that enabled the sales team to check if they could execute all trades and built a feature for sales to attach actual trade from Order Management System to pre-trade ticket. He migrated the entire UI and server-side code base from Python 2 to Python 3 using Enaml for building application UI and bound it with server-side components using Atom. Suyog holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
