Swadeep Kumar Singh is a highly skilled data scientist, innovator, and researcher with over 8 years of experience in data science, machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision. He holds a Master's degree in Medical Imaging and Informatics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and has founded one healthcare tech startup. Swadeep has a passion for coding and problem-solving, and his specialties include quickly learning new skills and programming languages, process optimization, system design, data analysis, building and training deep neural nets, research, and bringing innovation to existing/new products or solutions. He has expertise in C, C++, Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, Numpy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Pytorch, Tableau, QGIS, OpenCV, MATLAB, Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git/Github, JIRA, AWS, and has started working with PySpark and Azure. Currently, Swadeep is working as a Senior Technical Lead at Mercedes Benz, where he leads and develops projects from early concept, develops and implements data strategy, coordinates and collaborates with cross-functional teams, and manages end-to-end data architecture. He has also developed two patents on data mining algorithms for automated/autonomous driving. In the past, Swadeep has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Pathpartner Technology, where he designed deep learning models for traffic sign recognition, and as a Co-founder at Vejovis Healthcare Solutions, where he created MVPs addressing real-world problems associated with healthcare data, and managed all aspects of the operations of the company. Swadeep's area of interest includes deep learning, machine learning, computer vision, and statistical data analysis. He believes in "learning-by-doing" and is always exploring the resources available to him to build something out of it.
