Swapna Kannan is a proactive and inventive construction project management student with a passion for interior design and BIM modeling. With more than 2+ years of experience in the industry, Swapna has practical knowledge of design tools such as Revit architecture, SketchUp, 2020 spaces, AutoCAD 2D, V-ray, Photoshop, and In-design. She is currently working as a BIM Modeler at btts, where she is responsible for the preparation of Architectural BIM models with various levels of detailing. Swapna has the ability to generate various Architectural layouts, sections, elevations, and details using Revit 2020 software. Prior to her current role, Swapna worked at Core Interio Creations & Projects Private Limited as a Design Engineer, where she was responsible for handling walk-in and post-sales site visits. She also updated software MIS design and rendering to the self-satisfaction of the consumer and followed up post-sales. Swapna has also demonstrated cost reductions and operations improvements and designed floor plans, elevations, 3D perspective views, and material boards for review and presentation. Swapna holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Anna University and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in Construction Management from Canadore College, which she is due to complete in 2022. Swapna is also skilled in project scheduling, resource management, quality assurance, including on-site evaluations, risk analysis, and other control capabilities, using Primavera- project portfolio management. Swapna is seeking full-time Interior Designer/BIM Modeler jobs and is confident in her ability to think outside the box and finish projects on schedule. With 3.79 years of relevant experience in the industry, Swapna is an asset to any team and is ready to take on new challenges.
