Swapna Kulkarni is a self-motivated software engineer with over 9 years of experience in developing the best software. She has a strong background in academics, having completed her Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, and her Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Currently, Swapna works as a Senior Software Engineer at Twilio, where she specializes in developing cloud-native applications in the microservice architecture. Her technical skills include Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST, Cloud, and Dropwizard, among others. Swapna has worked with several top companies in the past, including Tibco Software Inc., where she served as a Senior Member of Technical Staff. During her tenure, she designed and implemented cloud-native offerings, containerized applications with Docker, and exposed REST endpoints of the microservice. She was also involved in the whole software development life cycle (SDLC) of design, implementation, and application deployment in the CI/CD pipeline. At Tibco, Swapna also served as a Member of Technical Staff, where she designed and implemented a configurable log collector as a RESTful service for Hawk product. She developed a UI that allowed end-users to create and configure collectors based on their own enterprise deployment. She implemented a cloud-based test framework to automate tests for AWS deployment of the LogLogic Unity. She also developed a TIBCO Enterprise Admin Agent for one of the products using Java and Javascript. Swapna's education and work experience have given her a strong foundation in software engineering, including skills in UI development, Cassandra, AWS, Web, MySQL, integration, and product management.
