Swapneel Patil is a Senior Consultant at Equal Experts and an ex-ThoughtWorker with 7 years of experience in Test Automation. He has expertise in multiple programming languages such as C#, Java, and Javascript, and has worked with various QA tools for UI Automation, Mobile App Automation, and API Testing. He is proficient in project management tools like TFS and JIRA and has experience in managing iterations to help Scrum masters. Swapneel is passionate about learning and understanding products and their requirements. He actively participates in Regression (Automated and manual) of the product before delivery. At Equal Experts, he has completed automation of the backlog and the current iteration stories using Cucumber, Selenium, Java using BDD framework. He has also introduced Shift Left Quality and enhanced processes within the team to get early feedbacks. Swapneel has worked with various frontend applications on different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) and has reviewed Unit Tests and Integration tests with developers to add necessary API and UI tests to follow Test Pyramid. He has experience in maintaining automated test suite and has upscaled fellow QA members on various tech stacks like Postman, Jmeter, Selenium, and API Testing. He has initiated API testing using Postman and API testing in projects. In his past role at ThoughtWorks, Swapneel had participated in inception/ideation, gathered requirements proactively, and provided feedback on the current application. He has worked in CI/CD for releasing the features in a faster way and has experience in QA Test consulting on different situations in a project. At TSYS, he has done white box testing - API (SOAP and REST), Web services, Integration, and UI testing. Swapneel holds an Engineer’s Degree in Electronics and telecommunication from Walchand Institute of Technology.
