Swapnil Agarwal is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer at Google, with over 9 years of relevant experience in the field. He is a skilled software engineer with a strong background in computer science and mechanical engineering. Previously, Swapnil was a Founding Engineer at Setu, where he designed and architected a two-sided fintech API platform for Setu-Collect product. He also implemented bill lifecycle management and settlements for Setu-Collect and integrated with Kotak Mahindra Bank core-banking and UPI APIs. Swapnil designed and developed generic SETU API principles for standard spec design, error propagation, handling and retryability, single source for documentation and codebase through code generation. He also established the SDLC process for entire engineering which relied heavily on CI/CD pipelines coupled with automation test suites, rigorous design and code reviews. At Rubrik, Swapnil was the first developer hire in the Bangalore office, where he built and mentored the frontend team from scratch. He also led the frontend dev team for adding VMware vCloud Director support in Rubrik's product and spearheaded a team of 6 UI devs for AWS native workloads snappable integration.
