Swapnil Chaudhari is an experienced software engineer with a passion for designing and building end-to-end AI/ML based products. He has over 9 years of relevant experience in big data and data science, with a focus on search, NLP, and ML. Currently, he works as a Lead Relevance Engineer at Myntra, where he has developed models for query classification and intent detection in search. Before joining Myntra, Swapnil worked as a Senior Relevance Engineer at Myntra and a Software Engineer III (Search and Relevance) at Walmart. At Walmart, he was responsible for relevance and system improvements for search, and he developed an algorithm for trend detection in queries and items to promote items in search accordingly. He also worked on user personalization in search, developed a module to improve the exposure of sale event items in search, and worked on generating query recommendations for Walmart.com search. Additionally, he built complex ETL pipelines for processing offline data for search signals. Swapnil has a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in NLP & IR from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from Fr. CRCE. He is skilled in a variety of technologies, including Spark, MongoDB, Kafka, Python, and Java. In his spare time, Swapnil serves as a reviewer for the ICON (International Conference on Natural Language Processing) and is passionate about keeping up with the latest developments in his field. He is a dedicated and detail-oriented engineer who is always looking for ways to improve his skills and make a positive impact in his work.
