Swapnil Godambe is a Director of Engineering at Axis DBAT - Freecharge, with over 11 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is an Engineering Manager and a Day 0 Team Member at Servify, where he was a part of the core engineering team that built the platform from concept to commercial launch. Swapnil has been instrumental in hiring, training, and mentoring engineering graduates from campus recruitments, overseeing a team size of 5 to 50 over 5 years. He has also worked closely with product and business teams to deliver market-defining solutions across the world. Swapnil has integrated and rolled out the platform for Consumer Electronics, Telecom, and E-commerce, managing the rollout of the platform in North America, Europe, and China. He has defined the architecture of all supply and demand side apps in Android as well as iOS, which included end consumers, field executives, and service center employees. Swapnil has also led the development of Public API and SDKs for the entire platform - Insurance, Service Workflows, Device Diagnostics. Swapnil has worked as a Vice President of Engineering and a Sr. Director of Engineering at Servify. He has built the AI/ML-based Crack Detection Test (patent) for detecting the cracks on the smartphone displays. Swapnil has also built the diagnosis solutions for smartphones, which are being used in warranty solutions, trade-in, and exchange programs. Swapnil has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai. He also holds a Higher Secondary Certificate in Science from Birla College.
