Swapnil Hasabe is a Senior Software Engineer at PwC and a full stack developer in the Innovation and Technology Team. With over 6 years of relevant experience, he has a strong command over functional programming in Scala, Node.js, data analytics, big data, and machine learning. Swapnil is passionate about learning new things quickly and adding value to solutions. At PwC, Swapnil has been responsible for developing REST APIs in the express.js framework, writing customized plugins for Kylo (an ingestion tool), and performing data analytics operations on Zeppelin, Jupyter Lab, and more. He has also worked on Spark-jobs, Apache Livy, and driven the build-deploy process on Docker and Kubernetes (Azure). Swapnil has a strong command of big data technologies and has developed REST APIs in the Scala Play Framework. Prior to joining PwC, Swapnil worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Tech Mahindra Americas Inc. where his responsibilities were mainly focused on real-time data computing with Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, and Apache Camel. He also designed and developed big data solutions and developed REST APIs utilizing Spring JPA, Swagger in Spring Boot framework. Swapnil completed his Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2016 and his Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering from Sinhgad College of Engineering, University of Pune in 2013. He has a strong tech stack that includes software engineering, big data, NodeJS, machine learning, Scala, Jupyter, Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure, Spring, Apache storm, Kafka, and Spring Boot.
