Swapnil Salunke is a seasoned mobile leader with over 13 years of experience building native mobile apps. He has over 11 years of pure consulting experience across multiple domains. Swapnil has played a multifaceted role as a Specialist engaged in various aspects of a project including planning, architecture, execution, and delivery. He has led multiple projects across multiple industry sectors like Healthcare, Retail, Telecom, Commercial, and US Gov. Currently, he is involved in creating mobile solutions in the networking domain solving managed network use cases. Swapnil has over 5 years of experience leading scrum teams. He has been involved in the complete employee lifecycle, right from hiring growth to recognition. He has mentored a few campus recruits into sharp iOS devs and helped a few junior devs improve their quality through their journey. Swapnil has led a few RFPs and RFI’s and was actively engaged in scoping estimations and pricing parts of the response. He has also played a leading role in practice building, screening 100s of resumes every quarter, and was actively involved in hiring events throughout. Swapnil has led the delivery of numerous native mobile apps on both iOS & Android platforms for various enterprise and commercial clients. He has worked on multiple POCs to solve unique client use cases and had successful demos. Swapnil has worked with Product management to envision new use cases based upon framework upgrades on platforms. Currently, Swapnil is the Engineering Manager and Head of Mobile Apps at Cradlepoint (part of Ericsson). His primary responsibility is the ownership of the Mobile apps team and Mobile Charter. He is engaged in driving the overall mobile app strategy, vision & roadmap partnering with business product managers, lead systems architects, and more experienced engineers. Swapnil makes decisions and resolves issues regarding strategic products of engineering teams to meet business objectives. He collaborates with cross-functional agile teams and product managers to drive business outcomes across the organization. Swapnil mentors and guides talent development of direct reports and assists in hiring talent. He is currently leading the modularization and automation efforts on the apps and is part of the India leadership team. Swapnil has worked with Deloitte and Capgemini in the past. At Deloitte, he groomed junior engineers and contributed on an engagement for one of the most popular casual fast restaurant chain's food delivery app in the US.
