Swapnil Shrivastav is a Principal Engineer at Microsoft with over 12 years of versatile experience in building successful software products and services in various domains. He has experience of working on large scale development projects with high complexity for Office @ Microsoft. Swapnil has also been involved in the fast-paced development of payment solution and products right from innovation/inception to successful product @Pinelabs. The payment solution developed by him is a leading product in India. Swapnil is known for his specialties which include but are not limited to creating architecture and design for complex products and flexible and scalable service platforms. Currently, Swapnil is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft. He is leading the effort for Version History in Excel Online. He has designed and delivered solutions to auto-refresh documents in collaboration scenarios. He has also owned and delivered accessibility and dialog features on Excel for Mac and owned the accessibility feature, designed Formula keyboard on Excel for iOS. In the past, Swapnil has worked as a Technical Architect at Pine Labs where he designed and developed EMI and wallet programs. He was involved in designing security pieces for the solution and designing SOA-based payment solutions.
