Swaraj Gandhi is a highly enthusiastic and hard-working frontend software engineer with over 6 years of relevant experience. Currently working at BrowserStack, Swaraj is well-versed in a variety of technologies, including React.js, Redux, PWA, Graphql, and ElasticSearch. He keeps himself up-to-date with the current tech world and is always looking in all directions of development to get the full idea. At BrowserStack, Swaraj has been mainly working on a React migration project, where he is migrating the entire product from Jquery to React step by step while keeping the current code working and moving one component at a time. He has worked on one of the major components in the product, which includes local testing, session starter, device logs, and more. Swaraj is also one of the core members of the deprecation plan for the chrome app, which was a huge project, rolling out the changes to more than 2 lakh users in a month. Additionally, he is working on the speedlab for BrowserStack, which includes integration with Can I Use and speedlab reporting pages to attract more users to the platform via different tools. In the past, Swaraj has worked for companies like Lyearn and Evive, where he has contributed to various projects. At Lyearn, he created and contributed to components in their own UI library for the company, worked on backend tasks with Node.js, and worked on daily bug fixes and some other small to medium level features. At Evive, Swaraj worked on internal projects like Clipper and Gameday, as well as client-facing projects like Challenges and Dashboard Refactoring. He also created a Healthy Recipe Mobile app using React Native for users to upload recipes with recipe images for getting incentives from the company. Swaraj holds an Engineer's Degree in Information and Communication Technology from da-iict and has also completed his high school education from New English High School and St. Anne's High School.
