Swarnendu Dutta is a seasoned marketing professional with over 8 years of experience in the industry. He started his career as a freelance web developer and worked with big brands like Forever21, Tata Literature Live, and Excel Movies. In 2019, he shifted his focus to digital marketing and discovered his passion for marketing operations, which he believes is the perfect blend of technology and business. Swarnendu has worked with various B2B SaaS companies like HackerEarth, Plivo, and Hippo Video, where he helped set up processes, data governance, and reporting to drive insights and fuel the GTM engine. Currently, he is working as the Marketing Operations at Outplay, where he is helping B2B SaaS startups enable and scale their GTM operations. Swarnendu is a GrowthX Fellow, where he has honed his skills in acquisition, onboarding, engagement and retention, monetization, growth teams and processes. He has also worked on a capstone project with a team of marketers, designers, and product managers to build an end-to-end growth strategy from acquisition to monetization. Swarnendu's past experience includes working as an Ambassador at Mo Pros, where he helped set up processes around the inbound engine, generated a 3X increase in pipeline, and identified gaps and areas for improvement in performance marketing to drive more conversions. Swarnendu has a degree in Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics Engineering from Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology, Pimpri, Pune. He is currently pursuing a Product & Growth Program in Business Administration and Management from GrowthX.
