Swarnim Shandilya is a research scholar with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and has over 7 years of relevant experience in the field of biotechnology and bioinformatics. He is currently working on a novel project with ICMR-NIOH, conducting a systematic review and meta-analysis on the burden of noise in women's reproductive outcomes. He is also actively involved in the mission to make India TB-free by 2025 with the WHO-ICMR TB prevalent survey. Swarnim is driven by a sense of purpose to serve humankind as a scientific researcher and strives to be a successful scientist. He is passionate about taking on taxing responsibilities and is always seeking new challenges. As a young scientist at ICMR, he is responsible for looking at the burden of noise (occupational/environmental) in women's reproductive outcomes and conducting a systematic review and meta-analysis. Prior to his current role, Swarnim worked as a project assistant at the Indian Council of Medical Research-National Institute of Research in Tuberculosis (ICMR-NIRT) where he was responsible for data analysis for the state of Gujarat in the National Survey of the state-wise prevalence of microbiologically confirmed pulmonary tuberculosis in India. He has also worked as a teacher at Pathshala NGO. Swarnim has a strong educational background with a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, and a Master's degree in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from the University of Mumbai. He has also pursued DASH in Genome Sciences/Genomics and Statistics and R from Harvard University. Swarnim's technical skills include being a research scientist. He is a dedicated and hardworking individual who is committed to making a difference in the field of scientific research.
