Swarrn Singh is an accomplished Information Technology professional with over 9 years of experience in project management, system implementation, and IT infrastructure installation. He is currently working as a Software Developer at Cisco, where he is responsible for Rest API implementation in packet capture module in firepower product written in C++/Design Patterns on Linux platform. He also owns the ND & NDCLIENTD client server architecture application module in ASA/FTD firewall network security applications developed in C++/Design Patterns on Linux Platform and has integrated open source tool Wireshark to their firepower product using API wrapper. Swarrn has played a vital role in the flow-offload feature, which enables trusted flow to bypass the security firewall, and few core java modules in the Intelligent Network project. Prior to joining Cisco, Swarrn worked at Juniper Networks, where he managed a team of 2 developers to port all the Real Time Charging (RTC) feature from old ECN system to the latest ECN521. He implemented the real-time charging module for the Alcatel Lucent product ECN, mainly worked in C/C++, Core Java, and Linux platform. He also worked on the SCP node to implement Intelligent Network features & enhancements, and all implementations were done in C++, Core Java on the Linux platform. Swarrn has a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur. He is a Software Engineer with experience in Java, C, test, infra, and integration. Swarrn is a skilled communicator and has achieved success as a liaison between local operations and corporate IT management. He is interested in building his IT managerial skills in his next role and is adaptable to change, setting priorities in demanding environments.
