Swastik Panigrahy is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering space. He has worked on mission-critical services and applications and has helped multiple teams migrate from traditional Ops models to DevOps/SRE workstreams. Swastik is an avid technology aficionado who loves to learn and dabble around with new technologies. He enjoys working on and exploring open source tools and technologies and has a huge catalogue of games. Currently, Swastik is working as a Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Oracle, where he is one of the key members of the DevOps team responsible for driving DevOps transformation within the organization. He is spearheading DevOps transformation and adaptation of DevOps-based Agile frameworks for over 45 customers/teams. Swastik is building and managing infrastructure codes using Terraform of almost all major Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) components. He is designing highly scalable and available DevOps framework solutions used by 50 different teams using Kubernetes. Swastik is executing the implementation of monitoring and telemetry frameworks using ELK, Nagios, and Prometheus-Grafana for over 450 applications. He is creating and building automation around operational toil using tools such as GIT, Ansible, and Jenkins, etc., for over 10 different teams. Swastik is also mentoring and hiring over 50 plus associates on DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering-based roles. Swastik's past experience includes working as a Systems Engineer at TCS, where he automated builds and deployment via CI-CD pipelines using ANT, Jenkins, and GIT for about 200 SOA components. He supervised and maintained high availability of 30 plus services for business-critical environments and composed test cases using HP Quality Control for multiple projects and modules. Swastik led Agile-based development of A2A Oracle SOA solutions as per customer requirements and directed change management and control processes using Atlassian Jira and Confluence for over 20 different changes weekly. He maintained optimal SLA with minimal downtime along with 100% Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). Swastik handled operational tasks such as issue troubleshooting and bug fixes for monitored applications. Swastik holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Orissa Engineering College, where he graduated in 2011. He also completed his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya in 2007.
