Swati Sharma is an accomplished Software Design and Development Engineer with over 4 years of experience in the software industry. Currently, she is working as an SDE II at Jio, where she is responsible for designing and developing software using Agile and DevOps methodologies. Swati is proficient in Core Java, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns. She has a proven track record of delivering successful projects and leading teams. Prior to her current role, Swati worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Accenture, where she was a full-stack developer. She led her team to deliver a major release that received recognition from the MD and was published as a success story. She built reusable Angular components and modules, set up Angular AOT compilation, and unit testing using the popular Karma library. Swati re-architected the legacy codebase to introduce dependency injection for improved testability and modularity. She created an AWS native generalized vendor onboarding subsystem for the application using ElasticSearch, DynamoDB, AWS Lambda, and S3, which replaced a fragile legacy subsystem that required custom code per vendor. Swati also improved failure handling across the application and added failsafe processes, such as asset validation and protection against invalid asset injection, and maintaining consistency between DynamoDB and Elasticsearch.
