Sweta Agarwal is a Senior Software Engineer at Sony India Software Centre Pvt. Ltd. with over 5 years of experience in the IT industry. She is a hardworking and tenacious individual who takes ownership of her work and is always willing to go beyond the defined lines. Sweta is inquisitive in nature, a good learner, and a seeker of knowledge. Sweta has hands-on experience in C++ and QML and is proficient in working with Windows and MAC OSX operating systems. She has good working experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum) of Software Development and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Currently, Sweta is responsible for development work in a Video Production desktop application called "Catalyst," which is a software developed by Sony. She is working on Mac OSX and Windows OS as platforms for development using XCode and Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 in languages like C++ 11 and Qt/QML. Sweta is also actively involved in organizing internal knowledge sharing sessions within the team to ensure effective knowledge is gained with respect to the technical contributions by the team and emerging technologies. Sweta has contributed to organizational activities outside of regular work, such as serving as a Scrum Master for the team and being an active Board Member of Sony Women in Technology, Bangalore Chapter. She has also been involved in the Organizing committee for Sony's internal innovation competition in 2020. Sweta has previously worked as a Software Engineer and Graduate Engineering Trainee at Sony, where she gained knowledge of programming languages like C & C++, hands-on training in Linux, and implemented support for a new format "DPX" in the application within the first few months of joining the project. Sweta holds a B.Tech. degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology and completed her High School (HSC) from Nirmala Convent School. Sweta's tech stack includes Software Engineering, testing, Jenkins, Javascript, and integration. She has 8.03 years of relevant experience in the field.
