Swetha Tanamala is a highly motivated and passionate individual with a wealth of experience in the field of computer science and AI technology. As the Director of AI and Operations at qure.ai, she is responsible for developing and deploying AI in medical imaging and health tech. Swetha has a strong background in deep tech and women in tech, and is committed to exploring and improving her skills in these areas. With over 6.78 years of relevant experience, Swetha has worked in a variety of roles in both academia and industry. She has previously served as an AI Scientist at qure.ai, where she led the research and development team responsible for detecting and localizing abnormalities on 3D brain scans. Swetha has also managed clinical trials for 3 FDA 510k submissions, and has developed and validated deep learning algorithms for the detection of critical findings in head CT scans. Prior to joining qure.ai, Swetha worked as a Teaching Assistant for Computational Engineering course at IIT Madras, where she guided 30 students and taught them the fundamentals of programming in C. She holds a Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Madras, where she graduated in 2017. Swetha has a diverse tech stack, including expertise in AI, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, data engineering, ML, Pytorch, Python, neural networks, Spark, Java, Hadoop, HDFS, web, Docker, SQL, MongoDB, Apache Hive, Corpus, OpenCV, image processing, MapReduce, big data, Javascript, data scientist, and MySQL. Swetha is a team player and is always looking for ways to explore and improve herself. She is an excellent communicator and enjoys working with others to achieve common goals.
