Swetha Tatavarthy is a highly motivated and diligent Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle with over 6 years of relevant experience. She is passionate about making a difference in the world of computer science and is always willing to learn and explore. Swetha has a strong background in software engineering, test infrastructure, Azure, integration, Python, and Jenkins. Currently, Swetha is working on Multi-cloud networking Control Plane at Oracle, which facilitates Azure customers to integrate seamlessly with Oracle database through OCI services. She has developed complete control plane logic for spinning up Azure+OCI infra for Heatwave DB onboarding and added test capability and spun up test infra in multiple regions. She is also actively bringing up service architecture from scratch in new regions Oman, Stockholm, Boyers, and has developed a monitoring system that orchestrates multithreaded packet follow in all production regions to service and alerts oncalls on service availability degradation for Private Endpoints and Reverse Connection. In the past, Swetha has worked with the Private Access - Control Plane and Data plane team within OCI at Oracle. She has worked on end-to-end control plane development for Private Endpoints in Substrate feature delivery. She was involved in API spec definition, workflow definition, business logic development, integration test development, end-to-end testing with cross-functional teams, and added transit routing test infrastructure capability for Private Endpoints. At Cisco, Swetha worked on the Nexus N9k switches team in Cisco Datacentre BU and developed python infrastructure to boot/prepare switch topology with system images and run jobs to validate switch configurations. Swetha holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology. She also has a strong educational background from Progressive Education Societys Modern College of Arts Science and Commerce, Shivajinagar, Pune 411005, and St. Josephs Convent High School, Khadki. Swetha is an expert in her field and is always open to challenges in any field of computer science.
