Syed Kashif Zafar is a Senior Software Engineer at Alstom with over 4 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is an accomplished Software Developer with in-depth knowledge of industry standard process design methods and possesses excellent Programming, Commissioning and Integration skills. Syed has domain expertise in Baggage Handling Systems and is an avid analytical problem solver with strengths in technical knowledge, organization, collaboration, and communication. Syed's previous experience includes working as an Executive Engineer at Siemens where he was responsible for various phases of controls engineering for Baggage Handling System projects. This included project engineering, documentation, software development, testing and simulation, commissioning, post-commissioning support, SAT and system handovers. He successfully executed many projects for international airports in India such as Bangalore International Airport, Mumbai International Airport, IGI Airport Delhi, Ranchi Airport, Kolkata Airport, and MOPA International Airport, Goa. Prior to Siemens, Syed worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Engineering and Environmental Solutions. He was responsible for programming, sensor interfacing, PCB circuit designing, and data logging and its visualization using microcontrollers for various bespoke laboratory data logging equipment for scientific research purposes. He also monitored different parameters of ambient environment and that of natural weather cycle like AQI, Temperature, Wind speed, Wind direction, Humidity, and Solar radiation. Syed holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, which he obtained in 2018.
