Syed Nadeem is a highly skilled DevOps Architect with over 13 years of relevant experience in the tech industry. He is passionate about DevOps, Automation, Integration, and Cloud Provisioning. Syed is currently working at Harman, where he is part of the DevOps team responsible for building, deploying, and monitoring the infrastructure that hosts hundreds of microservices used for cloud and edge services in the automotive industry. The infrastructure is built on AWS with Terraform, and all runtimes are containerized with Kubernetes. Syed is currently architecting DevOps for the Volkswagen Group. Prior to his current role, Syed worked at Visa as a Staff Software Engineer, where he was part of a team that provided container platform as a service to other internal Visa teams. The platform was predominantly built on Kubernetes stack with Docker being the container engine. Syed also worked at Software AG as a Senior DevOps Specialist, where he worked on the Software AG DevOps stream for Configuration Management, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment using DevOps tools such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, SaltStack, Terraform, among others. Syed holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Kashmir, where he graduated in 2009. He is a software engineer by profession and a student of tech by desire. Syed is a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in test, AWS, infra, Integration, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Selenium, Web, Java, Microservices, Python, Jenkins, SDET, CI/CD, SQL, Ansible, QA, and UI. Aside from his professional work, Syed is also an advocate for free education and a working father.
