Syed Umair is a highly motivated software developer with a passion for building efficient backend systems from scratch. Currently, Syed is a Software Development Engineer - I at Trell, where he is working on building and scaling the Ad Tech System. He previously worked as an SDE Intern at Trell, where he worked on the A|B testing integration in the feed backend team, which helped in understanding user recommendations and increasing user retention. He also worked on the migration of the Legacy PHP Codebase to the Golang Microservice, which resulted in 10X faster API response times. Before that, he worked as a Full-stack Developer at Codeasylums Network, where he worked on creating a code evaluation component in React, which helped Code Asylums Bootcamp students in submitting their code without manual verification. Syed holds a Bachelor of Technology - BTech degree in Computer Science from Presidency University, Bangalore.
