Taarussh Wadhwa is a highly motivated software engineer with a passion for data science and sports analytics. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Societe Generale, Taarussh is responsible for improving and maintaining a UI Platform that enables risk analysts to review and validate critical metrics related to Counterparty Credit Risk on a daily basis. He works with fellow engineers to develop intuitive dashboards that drive the organization's day-to-day business worth millions. Prior to his current role, Taarussh worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Societe Generale, where he worked on a POC for the organization's transaction banking team to accurately predict whether a client will default or not. He cleaned, prepared, and analyzed over 70k entries in the dataset before training classification and regression models. Utilizing key metrics such as ROC-AUC score, precision vs recall, f1-score, and model accuracy, he achieved 97% accuracy using a Random Forest Classifier. His tools included SQL, Excel, Python, Numpy, Pandas, and Scikit-Learn. Taarussh's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from VIT, which he will complete in 2022, and a High School Diploma in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science from National Public School.
