Tabish Aleem is a skilled Software Engineer with a background in building Microservices and Restful Fullstack applications. He is proficient in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Angular, SQL, Data Structures, Algorithms and DevOps. Currently, he is working as an SDE 1 at Amazon, where he is responsible for designing, developing and owning new features and services for the Ring Neighbors App backend serving 15 million monthly active users. Tabish has developed a new microservice that takes care of feed generation when the user opens up the app and implemented new functionality allowing users to add updates to existing posts and manage feed view accordingly. He has also integrated the new feed microservice with GraphQl to serve new clients, while also building transformers to onboard legacy clients as well. Prior to Amazon, Tabish worked as an Associate Software Engineer II at Optum, where he implemented a generalized tool with Spring Kafka to solve a race condition between Kafka topics and SQL/No-SQL data stores, capable of handling a million records per day. He also developed an end-to-end Full Stack application from scratch enabling employee assessment using Java + Spring Boot + MySQL for the backend, Angular for frontend, and Jenkins + Docker + Kubernetes for deployment. Additionally, he modernized a legacy billing tool to a modern tech stack (and added new features) using Java + Spring Boot + MySQL for the backend, Angular for frontend, and Jenkins + Docker + Kubernetes for deployment. Moreover, he conducted Bootcamps teaching employees Java + Spring Boot based Microservices and basics of Apache Kafka. Tabish holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia. He also completed his Class 12th and Class 10th from St. George's School, Alaknanda. Tabish has experience working with various technologies, including Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, MySQL, Jenkins, AngularJS, and DevOps.
