Taher Ahmed is a Software Engineer at Theecode | Alchemy with a background in civil engineering. After working as a site engineer and rebar detailer for several years, Taher realized that he was seeking more career growth and job satisfaction. This led him to explore web development and enroll in a 30-week full-time course on Full-Stack Web Development at Masai school. Despite starting with little knowledge of web development, Taher quickly developed his skills and was able to build an E-commerce page with proper flow and validations in just two months. His experience at Masai school provided him with hands-on experience on MERN stack, critical thinking by solving Data Structures and Algorithms, and enhanced his coordination, clear communication, and decision-making skills. Taher's current role is as a Rebar Detailer at gm concrete engineering pvt ltd, where he studies structural and architectural contract drawings and prepares placing drawing and Bar bending schedule using Rebar Cad Software V9.11. He also coordinates and self-checks shop drawings and BBS and is involved in various structural elements such as Foundation, Concrete Columns, Beams, Shear walls, Flat slab, Condition Slab, Culvert, CMU, Bridge, etc. In addition to his professional experience, Taher enjoys traveling, reading books, exploring movies, and listening to music. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering from Jerusalem College of Engineering and a Full Stack Web Development certification from Masai school. Taher's tech stack includes Web, Software Engineer, and Spark, and he is excited to apply his acquired skills to solve intricate problems and make life easier.
