Tanmay Mehra is a highly experienced Senior Software Development Engineer with over 11 years of expertise in application development and designing complex enterprise applications. He has an extensive background in various technologies such as Java, Python, Spring, Docker, AWS, Hive, Kafka, ETL data pipeline, DevOps, and automation frameworks. Currently, he is working as a Staff Engineer in WalmartLabs, where he is responsible for building a next-generation platform for retail and e-commerce for items cost negotiations with suppliers. In his current role, Tanmay is working on a project that deals with big scale sales and item data for the retail business. He is building an efficient data pipeline to feed data to data science algorithms and machine learning predictions. He has also built a whole new product that provides various levers for reducing the cost of the items. Prior to this, he worked at Walmart as a Senior Software Engineer and an architect, where he led a team in building a cost negotiation platform for Walmart e-commerce and stores. Tanmay has a B.Tech in Computer Science from the College of Engineering Roorkee.
