Tanmay Naik is a skilled Software Engineer at Cisco with almost four years of relevant experience. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Northeastern University and has previously worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Cisco. Tanmay's passion for computer science stems from his love for spending time on computers. During his undergraduate studies, he developed a desktop application for Windows that simplifies the process of calculating test scores. Over time, it grew into a multi-platform mobile app for Android and Windows Phone that is still being used by fellow students. He also developed an Android app that notifies students with their results the moment it gets updated online, freeing them from anxiously checking the university website. Tanmay is experienced in various programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, and PHP, and has worked with different frameworks for those languages. He is always keen on learning new things and is currently exploring blockchain and its frameworks, which has amazed him unlike anything. He is also skilled in databases like Oracle SQL and MySQL and has worked on web development frameworks like Angular and jQuery during his two years as a Software Developer at Infosys. In addition to his technical skills, Tanmay has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Khoury College of Computer Sciences, where he taught an object-oriented design course. Tanmay holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from Dharmsinh Desai University and is expected to complete his Master's degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University in 2021.
