Tanmoy Ghorai is an experienced Manager in Engineering and Techno Commercial at Ampyr Energy, an IPP of RE Projects across Europe and USA. With over 10 years of experience in Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Projects, he has a strong background in risk assessment, detailed design, technical due diligence report, lenders engineering job, and business development roles in different Renewable Energy (2500 MW+), Smart City Infrastructure, and Water Resource projects across Asia and Europe Continent. Tanmoy is skilled in Staad Pro, SCIA Engineer, HECRAS, Mike 11, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS software, and has extensive knowledge in Structural Design of Module Mounting Structures (MMS) in IS and EU code, different equipment (Transformer, MV station, HT panel, etc.) foundations, and Hydraulic design of Hydropower Structures like Barrages, Intake, Sedimentation chambers, Tunnels, channels, Penstock, Surge Shaft, etc. He is also experienced in energy yield assessment/ Power Potential Studies, Installed capacity optimization, for Hydro Power Projects, and possesses extensive knowledge of buy/sell of greenfield/brownfield solar projects across Europe and Asia. Tanmoy has previously worked as a Manager at Sunsource Energy and Tractebel, where he was responsible for the development of feasibility studies for Hydropower Potential, Technical Due-Diligence of the thirteen operational small Hydro Power Projects, and preparation of drawings, BoQ of different parks, riverfront development, Lake Beautification, Important buildings, and construction methodology for Belagavi SCP. He was also responsible for storm water drainage plan and design for different area-based Development (ABD) areas and part of the GIS group to prepare GIS-based maps. Tanmoy holds an M.Tech degree in Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata. He also completed his Higher Secondary in Science from S.S.M.H.S.S.
