Tanner Christensen is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the field. He currently works at Crumbl Cookies, where he is responsible for developing and designing web applications. Tanner has a passion for web design and enjoys the challenges associated with creating web applications. He possesses a broad range of skills, including training, management, back-end web development, UX design, and compiled languages. In his current role, Tanner has been instrumental in developing an internal tool for evaluating cookie quality based on customer photos from thousands of orders each day. He has also worked on the backend for the award-winning Crumbl mobile app and implemented an internal logging solution via DynamoDB. Additionally, he has managed CircleCI build tools for services, architected and implemented complete integrations with external order and delivery providers (UberEats, DoorDash, GrubHub), and worked in AWS environments to manage and debug Lambda services, DynamoDB, Parameter Store, Transcriptions, and other services. Tanner has also contributed to the development of several other companies, including Podium and Vivint Solar. At Podium, he implemented encryption for push notifications for the Android and iOS portions of the React Native app, helped to improve application performance and launch times, and implemented low/no connectivity handling to allow for better exception handling when messages are sent while on spotty connections. At Vivint Solar, he maintained multiple full-stack applications utilizing NodeJS, GraphQL, React, Angular, and React Native, and helped build a React Native application from the ground up to a user base of 1000 internal users. Tanner holds a degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, where he graduated in 2013.
