Tanoy Basak is a skilled Frontend Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in creating visually appealing web applications. Currently, he works as a Software Development Consultant at KPMG Global Services (KGS) where he is responsible for developing single-page applications (SPA) using React-Redux with TypeScript. He also collaborates with client developers to prototype, determine scope, and optimize performance of page builds. Tanoy has expertise in creating restApi's using NodeJS and MongoDB along with GraphQl and is responsible for containerizing apps using Docker and deploying them to Azure Kubernetes Service. Previously, Tanoy worked at HCL as a Software Engineer where he contributed to creating a Design Systems library for use of other product teams. He also created various responsive UI components in React and ES6 and Dynamic Chart visualization components using D3 with React and TypeScript. At Deloitte, Tanoy worked on the customer module of ITSM application on authentication, rest-api integration, and internalization using React. He also worked on responsive Dashboards for different screens using scss and contributed to creating rest APIs using Nodejs Framework and MongoDB. Tanoy has a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Fergusson College. He is skilled in JavaScript, React, NodeJs, SCSS/Css, Docker, Python(Django), and D3. He is also proficient in Redux, TypeScript, and Accessibility. Tanoy is a Front-End enthusiast who collaborates closely with product managers, designers, and leadership to lay the foundation of first-time user experience and onboarding customer. He is a proactive team player who collaborates in tech meetups for internal training on various technologies in the organization and advocates accessibility in design library.
