Tapas Vashi is a highly motivated and passionate Software Engineer with a keen interest in technology, finance, banking, and web application development. He is currently pursuing his Master's in Applied Computing from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Charusat University in India. Tapas has worked as a Full Stack Software Developer and has experience as a front developer, mainly in Angular 8. He firmly believes in learning new things every day and making an impact. His current role is as a Software Developer Intern with Ceridian's Dayforce Benefits team, where he works on Ceridian's flagship product Dayforce, a leading global HCM software. His daily work includes developing new user-facing features using React.js and building reusable wrapper components. He also translates Figma designs and wireframes into high-quality code and optimizes React components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers. Tapas has gained working knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps and other tools like git, etc. He has also worked as an Instructional Assistant for the course CP264: Data Structures and Algorithms at Wilfrid Laurier University, where he helped students with doubt-solving, grading their assignments, and other administrative tasks. Additionally, he has designed and implemented front-end interfaces for a US-based school client using Angular 8 as a Software Developer Contract at Multigonal.
