Tarang Shah is a skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in Robotics and AI. He is currently working at Aurora as a Software Engineer, where he is responsible for designing and developing software solutions for autonomous vehicles. Prior to this, he worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Argo AI, where he gained valuable experience in the Data Science team. Tarang graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2021 with a Masters Degree in Robotic Systems Development. During his time at CMU, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Argo AI Center for Autonomous Vehicle Research with Prof. John Dolan. In this role, he was responsible for building datasets and prototyping modeling approaches for scenario level anomaly detection. He also developed pipelines for data collection and visualization in the CARLA Simulator, including custom controllers and scenarios. In addition to his academic and professional experience, Tarang has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from BITS Pilani. He also has experience in High School/Secondary Certificate Programs from K.J. Somaiya College of Science and Commerce, Mumbai, and Primary School from Hiranandani Foundation School, Powai. Tarang's technical skills include AI, Software Engineering, Research Science, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Data Science. He has a total of 5.60 years of relevant experience in these areas.
