Tarun Girdhar is a passionate and hands-on individual with over 11 years of progressive and rich industry experience in business partnering, talent management, employee relations, learning and development, change management, facilitation, leadership coaching, project management, senior stakeholder management, and software development lifecycle. He is currently working as a Manager of Talent Management at Zscaler, where he is responsible for designing and deploying talent management and leadership development initiatives to engage, drive, and develop high-performing teams. Tarun started his career as a Senior Systems Engineer at Infosys Limited, where he specialized in Finacle Universal Banking Solution integration, implementation, and customization. He was also deputed on an international assignment in Dubai for two years. He later joined Cisco as a part of their Human Resource Leadership Program, where he had the opportunity to learn, innovate, and experience a myriad of roles within HR across business partnering, learning and development, employee relations, and talent agility. He has also participated in and led various country, regional, and global organizational initiatives. Throughout his career, Tarun has held several positions that require adaptability, strategic thinking, and complex stakeholder management. He has managed large dynamic teams and worked with cross-cultural stakeholders to attain results in challenging matrix environments. His ability to build strong people connections and effectively plan, collaborate, influence, and execute has helped him lead complex initiatives and projects requiring a strong bias for action and structure. Tarun holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Panjab University. He is skilled in integration and software engineering. Outside of work, Tarun loves building meaningful connections and can be found either in the kitchen cooking a meal for his family or reviewing a new restaurant in the neighborhood. He is also an avid runner and yoga practitioner.
