Tarun Jain is a passionate chemical engineer with a technical background in process design and engineering, business excellence, and Six Sigma. He is a trained Black Belt Professional from ASQ and has worked with renowned organizations like SRF and Jubilant in the past. Tarun is currently working as a Technical Professional at KBR, Inc., where he handles various responsibilities related to process design and execution activities. With a relevant experience of 4.28 years, Tarun has developed expertise in plant commissioning, design manual preparation, execution support to cross-functional teams, technology exploration and evaluation, lab trials, data generation, and validation, and simulation studies for refrigerant gases. He has also worked as a process designer for chemical and refrigerant plants, where he prepared basic engineering packages, P&ID, design calculations for process equipment, vendor documents review and support, conceptual plot plan and elevation development for greenfield projects, engineering experiments for process development ideas, heat and mass balance with validation on Aspen Plus, HAZOP for new processes, IPDS and interlock trip schedule development, column hydraulics, and exchanger sizing. Apart from his technical skills, Tarun has a fervid cricketer inside him and loves to cook and do DSLR photoshoots in his free time. He is a big fan of Harvey Specter and a mountain hiker. Tarun completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Thapar University in 2018.
