Tarun M. is a seasoned User Experience Design Specialist with over 18 years of experience in designing software products and solutions that are user-centered. He is currently heading the User Experience Design CoE for AI/ML, SCM, Low code no code, Algorithm API based Product Development at Wipro ltd. Tarun has a diverse background in HCI, cognitive psychology and human-factors, which he leverages to design user interfaces. He has worked on various UI design projects for internal customers and external clients in domains such as Corporate and Retail Banking, Finance & Insurance, Retail Services, Healthcare, Communications, Transportation, Social Networking, Goods and Services Tax, Automation, Supply Chain – Blockchain, Pharmacovigilance, RPA, AI-ML. Tarun's specialties include Design Thinking and Research, Modelling such as persona development, workflow and navigation models, UI Requirements such as user, business, and technology, IxD such as interaction patterns & behaviors, Design validation such as storyboards, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to communicate ideas for navigation and interaction, and Measuring usability such as expert and heuristics evaluations and making recommendations for change. Prior to his current role, Tarun worked as a User Experience Consultant at TCS, where he created UI and interaction design specs, drove optimal experiences, and conducted user research. He also served as a Lead User Experience Designer at KPIT, where he was responsible for understanding a customer's brief and converting it into appealing, highly usable interfaces, developed an understanding of end-users through research, and prepared low fidelity prototypes for internal review and brainstorming. Tarun holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate degree in Business Analytics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He is proficient in AI, ML, Research Scientist, UI, and is a designer. With almost 20 years of relevant experience, Tarun is passionate about designing software products and solutions that are user-centric by leveraging new and emerging technologies.
