Tarun Mendiratta is an experienced technical professional with over 22 years of experience in the mechanical-sheet metal engineering industry. He is currently working as the Director at IPG Photonics India Pvt. Ltd. where he is responsible for managing the operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the company. Tarun has a strong background in negotiation, CNC punching, bending, and laser operation processes. He is also skilled in operations management, Six Sigma, and manufacturing. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management focused on Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Welingkar Institute of Management. Prior to joining IPG Photonics India Pvt. Ltd., Tarun worked as the National Application Manager at Trumpf (India) Private Limited and as the Manager Production at Bry-Air (Asia) Private Limited. At Bry-Air, he managed the production activities of the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and was responsible for new product development, process planning/modifications, and developing jigs and fixtures. He also managed the activities of the entire plant comprising of CNC machine shop, welding, powder coating section, and the assembly line for the standard and custom-built dehumidifiers and allied products. Tarun has a Diploma in Advanced Software Technology from CMC Limited and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Institution of Engineers. He has a demonstrated history of working in the industry and is known for his strong production skills and ability to manage operations efficiently.
