Tarun Modi is a highly experienced Senior Security Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the Financial, Telecom and ride-hailing industries. He has a strong background in VAPT, Computer Forensics, Networking, and Reverse Engineering. Tarun is an OSCP certified professional with a Master’s Degree in Cyber Law and Information Security from National Law Institute University, Bhopal. Currently, Tarun is working as a Senior Security Engineer at Grab where he is leading the Grab Insure Security Posture and various other M&A. He is responsible for ensuring the security of M&A's and JV and contributing to various aspects such as Cloud Security and Cloud Defence, Regulatory requirements like PCIDSS, VAPT of Mobile and Web application, Onboarding and Configuring SSDLC for shift left, and contributing to the Security Awareness and Training Program of Grab. Prior to his current role, Tarun worked as a Security Engineer at Grab where he was responsible for handling the full stack of security requirements during acquisitions, including Cloud Security, Security Assurance, and Application Security. He was also responsible for PCI-DSS audit for different verticals of Grab. Before joining Grab, Tarun worked as an Information Security Analyst at Amdocs where he was responsible for doing VAPT of Amdocs products. Tarun has a strong technical background and is proficient in Web, Mobile, AWS, Python, Research Scientist, Integration, and Infra. He is a valuable asset to any organization he works with and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
