Tarun Sharma is a highly skilled Software Engineer currently working with Jaguar Land Rover to automate their testing capabilities and increase their Return on Investment. He is a Dual Degree graduate student from the Mechanical Engineering department of IIT Kanpur. Tarun is a key developer and designer in the Validation & Verification Group at JLR, where he is building a Test Executable Generator inside an Automated Keyword Driven Testing Framework. This platform helps in the end-to-end execution of test cases across multiple toolchains and is run globally across 300+ test rigs. He has expertise in Low Level Design, Design patterns, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Architecture, and CI/CD Pipelines. Tarun is also involved in several R&D initiatives, including working part-time in Service Oriented Architecture for Asset Bridge, Predictive Maintenance of Automotive Systems using LSTM, and Virtual & Extended Reality Experience. He has presented his projects to the Board of Directors and received a very healthy response. In the past, Tarun has worked on the A4 Framework Development Team, VITAL Team, and Powertrain Team at JLR. He has also been involved in non-technical activities, such as helping in the growth of JLR India by conducting technical interviews for full-time roles and internships, acting as a SPoC between JLR-I & IIT Kanpur, and being a part of the coding test tool development team. Tarun has previously worked as a Project Engineer at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where he worked on a project by Hyper Poland involving the prototype of a MagRail. He has also worked on Motion Planning of a 6DOF Robot Arm Manipulator project. Tarun has a diverse technical skill set, including expertise in Software Engineering, Image Processing, CI/CD, Mobile, Python, Docker, Microservices, Keras, AI, CNN, Golang, Kubernetes, ML, and Tensorflow. He has 2.79 years of relevant experience and is a highly motivated individual with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
