Tauqeer Ahmad is an experienced and certified DevOps Engineer with a strong commitment to supporting, automating, and optimizing deployments on public cloud. He is skilled in various DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Cloudformation, Python, Public Cloud (AWS+Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible, among others. With over 7.78 years of relevant experience, he has worked in various capacities with different organizations. Currently, Tauqeer is an individual contributor at KPMG's Enterprise Cloud division's DevOps team, where he is responsible for maintaining core platforms in two major Cloud Providers (AWS and Azure). He is a Consultant with the company, and he brings his wealth of experience to ensure that the team delivers top-notch services to clients. Before joining KPMG, Tauqeer worked as a Cloud Engineer at Wipro, where he implemented DevOps across the project to create a fully automated CI/CD pipeline using industry-standard tools such as GitLab CI, Cloudformation, Ansible, and Chef. He also worked as a System Engineer at Wipro, where he performed AWS administration tasks such as EC2 platform, S3 storage services, VPC setups, IAM administration, Amazon CLI, and services like Relational Database Services, Cloud front, Cloud watch monitoring, Cloudtail, Route 53, DynamoDB, Simple email services, among others. He also independently identified and performed general administrator/engineer tasks (patches, application upgrades, etc.) and monitored system performance to prevent resource exhaustion. Tauqeer holds a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Information Technology from Vellore Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Aligarh Muslim University. He is a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and has certifications in AWS and Azure, among others. His tech stack includes AWS, DevOps, Azure, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Python, CI/CD, Jenkins, infra, and Senior Software Engineer. Tauqeer is a highly motivated and dedicated individual who is always willing to learn and adapt to new technologies.
