Wrapbook provides payroll management software for the entertainment industry. It features solutions for tax filing & payments, billable time tracking, expense approval, and more. It offers onboarding and digital payment solutions for vendors and contractors. It also offers insurance for filmmakers, crew, gears, production teams, etc. The insurance offers coverage for compliant rental insurance, commercial general liability, third-party property, and more.

I founded the Platform Group at Wrapbook, consisting of two teams: cloud infrastructure and SRE. In this role, I conducted hiring, set yearly & quarterly objectives, and defined the vision for our internal developer platform.

In this role, I also served a term as chair of Wrapbook's DEI committee.

As an engineering manager at Moz, I led the product delivery team responsible for the middle tier of Moz Pro Campaigns, Moz Pro On-Demand, and Moz Local Market Analytics.

Moz provides analytics software to track a website’s inbound marketing efforts. Moz Analytics tracks each effort with data visualizations, insights into competitors’ data, and actionable recommendations to improve each effort’s performance. Moz helps professional marketers with analytics and recommendations to improve their web traffic and customer acquisition through inbound channels such as SEO, social media, content marketing. It also has a tool to determine the relevance of a page based on sampling. Its moztrust compares how trustworthy a website is compared to others. Moz also has a tool for researching popular search trends&nbsp;and a community site called YOUmoz. There is an SEO audit tool called SEO Toolbar.

As a member of the principal engineering group, I defined the long-term technical strategy at Moz as it pertained to cloud infrastructure, observability, and automated deployments. I functioned as a product owner for our Infrastructure Services team, led tactical project teams to address urgent business needs, and provided technical and career mentorship to one-third of our engineering cohort.

As a member of the SRE team at CircleCI, I partnered with our technical teams to improve the stability and performance of our product.

 In this role, I also owned and operated production infrastructure: AWS networks, Kubernetes clusters, MongoDB databases, caching and routing systems, and CI/CD pipelines.

Features include job orchestration, Docker support, language-agnostic support, caching, SSH-based debugging, audit logging, full-level virtual machine isolation, dashboarding, and more. Supports integrations GitHub, Bitbucket, Fastlane, Azure, and Slack. Notable clients include Facebook, Segment, Kickstarter, Percolate, and more. The product is available both in the cloud and on-premise.

Cloud-based continuous integration and delivery management software provider

As a Systems Engineer at EA, I was responsible for the cloud infrastructure and networking that supports Origin and EA Access. Broadly, my responsibilities were:

* To support our feature developers by providing AWS infrastructure and monitoring services.
* To understand and drive improvements to the architecture of our products.
* To own and develop our internal caching and routing services.

In my last year at EA, I also managed a small number of junior engineers.

As a member of the Cloud Operations team at Stytch, I built and improved on systems for:

* Configuration and maintenance of our AWS-based cloud networking, storage, and scaling infrastructure.
* Infrastructure automation to support integration, functional, performance, and security testing.
* Management of software deployments including launch and scaling.
* Logging, monitoring and alerting for production.

I was responsible for the health of Demonware’s infrastructure as a member of their Network Operations Centre, where I regularly:

* Configured hosts and clusters as requested by SRE teams.
* Maintained and improved thousands of service health checks covering all aspects of our production systems.
* Responded to numerous production incidents by coordinating responsible teams and providing diagnostic support.

My role grew over time and I joined the NOC Tools team in November 2015. In addition to my Systems Administration duties, I also:

* Wrote, deployed, and maintained two internal Python services to improve the efficiency of the NOC during production incidents.
* Worked with team members to improve their scripting skills.
