Terrence Wong is a Fullstack Software Engineer with a diverse skill set that includes expertise in JavaScript, React, Python, SQL/NoSQL DBs, and more. He is currently working at Google as a Software Engineer, where he is involved in developing cutting-edge software solutions. Terrence has previously worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Autodesk and as a Full Stack Developer at UL Solutions, where he developed features on numerous MERN stack software tools used by UL employees globally. He has also recreated one tool’s form component, improving code reusability by 60% and reducing the time it takes for future developers to create new forms by 50%. Additionally, he has improved the code base’s test coverage to 85% using Jest and React Testing Library. Terrence holds a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University, and a Software Engineering Immersive certification from Hack Reactor. He also attended Chabot College, where he completed his pre-requisite courses. Terrence is a skilled Software Engineer with 1.78 years of relevant experience.
