Thu Doan is an experienced Lead QA Engineer at Grab with over 5 years of relevant experience in software testing and management. She has a strong background in software management skills, having worked as a Project Manager in the past. Thu is skilled in defining development processes for working teams with high quality and less QA effort. She is also proficient in getting requirements and timelines from Product Managers and Product Owners, planning, working, and following up to deliver features on time and meet expectations. Thu is an expert in manual software testing, with the ability to create test-related artifacts such as test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports. She is also capable of managing and performing test executions, including delivering test results such as test status and reports. Thu is experienced in developing test strategies and workflows/frameworks for testing projects independently. She has knowledge about design and is skilled in testing both mobile and web applications. In addition, Thu has expertise in automation software testing, including mobile automation testing with Calabash Android, Calabash iOS, Appium - Cucumber, Appium for iOS, Appium for android, and KIF. She is also proficient in API testing with cucumber, Postman, and has experience with performance testing using Jmeter and Charles. Thu has knowledge of issue and project tracking tools such as Jira - Confluence, Trello, Pivotal Tracker, and Visual Studio Team Service (VSTS). Thu has previously worked at Silicon Straits Saigon as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. Thu holds an Engineer’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Information Technology, where she graduated in 2017. Her tech stack includes test, QA, designer, product manager, Android, iOS, Mobile
